- Civil Services Main Examination: Written examination and Interview/Personality Test for final selection.
Details of Preliminary Examination- Consists of two objective-type papers (multiple-choice questions).
- Maximum marks: 400 (200 marks each).
- Serves as a screening test only; marks are not counted for final ranking.
- Number of candidates admitted to Main Examination: Approximately 12-13 times the total vacancies.
- Eligibility for Main Examination is based on qualifying marks in the Preliminary Examination.

Interview/Personality Test- Candidates with minimum qualifying marks in the written test will be invited for the Interview/Personality Test.
- Number of candidates for the interview: Approximately twice the total vacancies.
- Interview carries 275 marks (no minimum qualifying marks).
Fee Structure :Candidates, except those belonging to the categories of Female, SC, ST, or Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (who are exempted from paying the fee), are required to pay a fee of Rs. 100/- . The fee can be paid using any of the these methods: - By remitting the amount in cash at any branch of the State Bank of India (SBI).
- Through Net Banking facility of any bank.
- Using Visa, MasterCard, RuPay Credit/Debit Card, or UPI Payment options.
