Stages of Examination

Civil Services Preliminary Examination: Objective type for screening candidates for the Main Examination.
Civil Services Main Examination: Written examination and Interview/Personality Test for final selection.

Details of Preliminary Examination

Consists of two objective-type papers (multiple-choice questions).
Maximum marks: 400 (200 marks each).
Serves as a screening test only; marks are not counted for final ranking.
Number of candidates admitted to Main Examination: Approximately 12-13 times the total vacancies.
Eligibility for Main Examination is based on qualifying marks in the Preliminary Examination.

Interview/Personality Test

Candidates with minimum qualifying marks in the written test will be invited for the Interview/Personality Test.
Number of candidates for the interview: Approximately twice the total vacancies.
Interview carries 275 marks (no minimum qualifying marks).

Fee Structure :

Candidates, except those belonging to the categories of Female, SC, ST, or Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (who are exempted from paying the fee), are required to pay a fee of Rs. 100/- .

The fee can be paid using any of the these methods:

By remitting the amount in cash at any branch of the State Bank of India (SBI).
Through Net Banking facility of any bank.
Using Visa, MasterCard, RuPay Credit/Debit Card, or UPI Payment options.

How to Apply :

Use given gateway to submit application online before the due date 11-02-2025.

Prior to filling out application, carefully read the instructions.

Applicant should complete an online application with the essential identifying information and academic details in the areas specified by their certificates.

Both a signature and a digital photo should be uploaded in an online application.
