Qualification in Details:

Assist in drawing up risk based Annual IT audit plan and ensure adequacy of coverage and incorporate emerging risk areas as part of the rolling audit plan.

1. Name of the Post: Senior Lead – IT Audit

2. Candidate Profile:

a) 9 – 12 years of experience in IT Audits in a bank, financial institution or leading audit/consulting firm

b) Experience of auditing IT General Controls and knowledge on IT security concepts

c) Experience in the IT industry with strong background in computer operations, software development and network administration

d) Advanced knowledge of IT auditing and standards

e) Sound understanding of RBI IT security requirements & financial Payments & Settlement eco system

f) Should have strong analytical and communications skills

g) Sound knowledge on Cyber security governance & Data Privacy knowledge

h) IT and Project management expertise are a plus

i) CISSP, CISA, CISM, ISO Lead Auditor and/ or security products Certifications.

3. Execute the IT audits that are assigned after assessing;

(i)the need for engaging external authorities /firms and appoint them after due approvals

(ii) internal team members

a) Continuously monitor progress/quality of assigned IT audits

b) Regular tracking to ensure timely completion of IT audit engagements and regular monitoring over the progress of IT engagement

c) Ensure regular co-ordination between the auditee for uninterrupted and regular flow of information required during the IT audit

d) Perform special projects involving review of system migrations, software changes any other management requests and investigations

e) Provide inputs and assist in preparing the periodic updates for Audit Committee

f) Review the NPCI IT and IS policies and process and share the best industry standards/practice for improvement

g) Participate in the development and approve the enhancements to the Compliance methodology and Standards for IT auditing, testing, monitoring and reporting with focus on compliance risk

h) Develop and implement the strategy to effectively utilize innovative compliance testing solutions including Data Analytics to increase value and reduce costs of compliance related activities

i) Provide IT insight to the state of compliance at NPCI

j) Inform senior management of the IT compliance matters that require their attention or action

k) Maintain supervisory oversight over on-going assessments related to compliance across businesses and products of NPCI.

l) Develop talent in compliance and promote opportunities for compliance talent to develop within NPCI

m) Promote knowledge sharing and promulgation of best practices across IT compliance

n) Identify industry IT best practices and share insight with Compliance team on regular basis

o) Identify IT compliance training resources and tools available globally to support IT compliance programs training and research needs.
